He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing, with a concentration on psychiatric mental health, at the Ivy League and top-ranked University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Mr. Ramirez is trained and board-certified to treat children, adolescents and adults.
Moreover, Mr. Ramirez has a past diverse clinical experience working with clients across the lifespan in multiple settings such as hospitals, community mental health clinics, intensive outpatient programs, residential treatment facilities, alternative school placements, and treatment homes.
His approach to patient care is holistic and patient-centered. He understands that patients are more than just a diagnosis or set of symptoms, and that in order to better serve them, he needs to address both medical and psychosocial factors. For this reason, he strongly believes in a collaborative team approach to care. He often works with his client’s therapist or primary care provider to discuss and formulate an individualized treatment plan that best addresses the unique needs of each individual client. Mr. Ramirez understands that each case is unique and that not all clients require medication but when it is needed, he makes sure to follow evidence-based guidelines to ensure the treatment is safe and effective.
